Projects
ipastoreCronolix
Cronolix is a football scouting platform: raw data to player scoring by role and league to the scout report, built end to end.
ColonMatcher
Proprietary · Medical deviceMy matcher for the EndoCartoScope SLAM: a self-supervised method that trains a deep learning matcher (LightGlue) without ground truth, validated on clinical data. Paper on the way.
CudaSift-py-wrapper
Open source · My forkI forked CudaSift to keep the strongest keypoints by score (not by detection order), with a per-octave cap and a Python wrapper (pybind11).
IG Parser
Open source · My forkI adapted the open-source IG Parser to batch-process institutional statements at scale, as part of the Resilient Rules project.
Experience
What ties my path together isn't a domain, it's a way of working: learn a new field fast, get my hands into the real, messy data, and build something that actually works. I have done it in medical imaging, sports analytics, omics, agriculture, and robotics.
Computer Vision Engineer
2025 – Present · Zaragoza, Spain
Implemented a new self-supervised training method coined ColonMatcher. Validated on clinical data and, as a result, extended SLAM mapping from a few seconds to a full 5-minute colon reconstruction.
Bioengineering Consultant
2024 – Present · Zaragoza, Spain
Evaluated ~20 R&D and AI projects bidding for public and private funding (Horizon Europe and other calls).
Software Developer
2023 – 2024 · Zaragoza, Spain · research stay at Syracuse University (USA)
I adapted the open-source IG Parser for batch processing; it coded ~10,000 institutional statements from 200 interviews across 60 countries. Research stay at Syracuse.
Research Assistant
2023 · Seville, Spain
Built a ~50-producer database and ran the statistical study for the EU FARMERS project (JRC) on digital agriculture, with the statistical analysis in R. Published as a thesis and a book chapter.
Software Developer
2022 · California, USA
Early retrieval-augmented system over electronic medical records (a precursor to RAG), helping support staff and physicians find answers faster.
Head of Biomedical Engineering
2020 – 2021 · Buenos Aires, Argentina
Headed a biomedical engineering team: 3,000+ medical devices across 50 departments, plus equipment-registry and resource optimization.
Product Development Researcher
2017 – 2019 · Buenos Aires, Argentina
Built the first prototype that scaled the bioreactors up to 50× in laminar flow.
